Dr.Panjabrao alais Bhausaheb Deshumkh has established Shri. Shivaji Education Society, Amravati for the progress of education in Vidarbha & elsewhere, particularly for the poor & backward classes. For achieving this objective in 1971 Y.D.V.D. Art & Commerce College has been established.
